Bright, bold, and undeniably captivating, this washed Ethiopian coffee shines with an irresistible sunny-day swagger. Its flower-forward, citrusy sweetness bursts through with a super-saturated intensity, offering a crisp, cocktail-like slickness that’s impossible to replicate.
Perhaps the reddest, orangest coffee of the year, this offering is as vibrant as its flavors suggest. Ayele Tulu, after a 45-year career in government service, returned to his roots in Bona Zuria, Sidama, to establish a washing station that now supports ~300 smallholder farmers.
