Alexandra Mavrikis Handmade Turkey Wing Hand Broom

Handmade by local artist Alexandra Mavrikis, this turkey wing hand broom is a beautiful blend of tradition and artistry. Crafted from natural broomcorn and woven into a fan-like shape, it’s perfect for small cleaning tasks or as a decorative piece. 

Measures approximately 15 1/2" x 11". Each broom is unique due to its handmade nature.

Alexandra Mavrikis is a wood artist and teacher based in San Diego, California. She received her MFA in Woodworking and Furniture Design from San Diego State University. She learned to make brooms using the Appalachian technique and hasn't stopped since.
