Make delicious gnocchi like the pros using this beechwood gnocchi board! Gnocchi is a traditional Italian dish of soft dumplings. This board allows you to quickly and easily roll your gnocchi faster than you can with a fork. It also yields a delicious and consistent product with fine ridges and a curved shape that retains sauce.
To make gnocchi, start by rolling your gnocchi dough into a long strand with a 3/4" diameter, then cut your desired size. For best results, hold the handle of the gnocchi board off the counter or working space, creating a slope. Taking a piece of dough and starting at the handle side of the board, press it firmly into the gnocchi board to make an indentation with your thumb. You can then roll the dough down the ridges, stopping when the dough is indented all around.
